Why operations win

Your team should be giving advice, not transcribing it.

Great financial services businesses aren't built on great advice alone. They're built on how efficiently and scalably that advice reaches clients as a compliant record. When more of your team's time goes into recording advice than creating it, growth stalls and clients wait. Crux is built by advisers, for advisers, to close that gap — backed by 25 years of experience running financial advice practices.

More than records of advice

Everything between the meeting and the signature.

Crux runs the whole advice journey, not just the document at the end of it — drafting every advice record your firm produces, from a Statement of Advice (SOA) to a Record of Advice (RoA) or Wholesale Investor Summary (WIS). From the first meeting note to a signed file in the client's hands, here's what works underneath.

Records, drafted in minutes

Meeting notes in, a compliant RoA, WIS or SOA out. Templates keep the structure and required content reliable, AI drafts the client-specific detail, and you review, annotate and approve every word.

Work that routes itself

Crux allocates tasks and handoffs across adviser, paraplanner and admin, so everyone sees what's theirs. Open items, follow-ups and obligations are tracked to completion, so nothing stalls on a chase or quietly falls through.

AI where it helps, automation where it doesn't

The right tool at each step, not AI bolted over everything.

Audit-ready by default

Every edit and every AI call is logged. A full revision history and AI-usage trail sit ready for compliance; no assembling a paper trail after the fact.

Clients, looped in and signed

Share documents, gather approvals and capture legally binding e-signatures without your clients ever leaving a secure portal.

You finally see the bottleneck

Crux measures throughput and time spent in every step of every workflow. You see where work is banking up, who's carrying too much, and which step is quietly costing you days, so you can manage the team on evidence instead of instinct.

Security

Client data that stays where it should.

Stored in Australia, at rest

All client data is stored at rest in Australia.

Encrypted at rest and in transit

AES-256 encryption on data at rest, and TLS on everything in transit, so client information is unreadable both in storage and on the wire.

Multi-factor authentication

MFA is built in, and your firm can enforce it across the org, so a leaked password on its own isn't enough to reach a client file.

Reviewed, and reviewed again

We run regular security reviews — human-led reviews alongside automated AI security reviews — so problems surface on our schedule, not an attacker's.

Built around you

You shouldn't have to bend your firm around your software.

Most advice software is built once, for everyone; the same square peg handed to every firm, and you're the one expected to hammer it into place. Crux is built the other way around. Our infrastructure is designed from the ground up to make customising the system for a single firm fast and routine, not a special project. At setup we sit with your team and shape it around the way you already work. After that we keep building with you, because your processes will keep evolving, and the software running them should evolve too.

Questions

What advisers ask us.

Where your client data lives, how AI is used in drafting, and how Crux fits the way your firm already works.

Where is my client data stored, and is it secure?

All client data is stored at rest in Australia. Crux encrypts data with AES-256 at rest and TLS in transit, supports multi-factor authentication your firm can enforce across the organisation, and runs regular security reviews — human-led alongside automated AI security reviews.

Does Crux use AI to write advice documents?

Yes — for the parts where it helps, and never unsupervised. Advice records are compliance documents, so the output has to be predictable: a fully AI-generated draft can't guarantee the required structure and content come out right every time. Crux builds each record on templates that reliably produce what the record must contain, with AI drafting the client-specific detail from your meeting notes. Your team reviews, annotates and approves every word, and every edit and every AI call is logged in a full audit trail, ready for compliance.

Can Crux be customised to how my firm works?

Yes. Crux's infrastructure is built to make customising the system for a single firm fast and routine, not a special project. At setup we shape it around how your team already works, and our median time from a feature request to it running in your firm is 3 days 21 hours.

The standard

Premium output, no compliance shortcuts, and an operating standard your team is proud to work to.
